The Accurpress Edge is engineered with finesse and to the demanding standards of all Accurpress products. This press brake is suited for the precision market looking for Y1/Y2 technology with affordability. The Edge is manufactured in select tonnage ranges and is available with the Accurpress Premium backgauge as well as additional specific options such as integrated crowning and hydraulic bed and ram tool clamping.

Y1/Y2 Technology

Synchronized, high speed forming via advanced Hoerbiger closed-loop hydraulics.
Utilizing one compact central manifold to offer excellent repeat and positioning accuracies with low pressure losses and high power density.
Ram repeat accuracy of +/- 0.0004".
Ram position accuracy of +/- 0.0004".
Programmable ram tilt +/- 0.500”.

Advanced Electronics Technology

Linear encoders using a chromed glass scale with output signals less than 0.0002° resolution resulting in real time ram positioning.
Electrical cabinet design complies with applicable ANSI, OSHA and Canadian Z142/02 standards.
Simplified layout of the electrical cabinet allows for reduced wiring, easy maintenance and troubleshooting.
Integrated Safety PLC provides reliable monitoring of all safety related functionality of the press brake such as: E-Stop, safety valves, foot and palm switches.

Low Maintenance Ways-system Technology

Ram stability is maintained via a solid ways-system mounted on the
outside of the press brake side frame.
Components impregnated with a proprietary blend of graphite, PTFE and metal oxides provide long-term stability with miniscule maintenance.

Rear Foot Levelling Screws

Levelling is easily achieved via the rear foot levelling screws for both installation and general maintenance.

Edge Production Enhancing Options Accurpress works closely with customers to ensure a perfect match to their forming needs. This includes providing the necessary productivity options and customizing the Edge to fit existing factory considerations, such as existing foundation and ceiling height requirements.
Front Sheet Supports
	Front Sheet Support Arms Available for front gauging techniques are 24” to 48” Front Sheet Support Arms assembled from extruded aluminum bars and steel supports. They come complete with T-slots and disappearing stops. The arms bolt to the drilled and tapped holes or the optional T-slots on the front face of the bed. Front Sheet Support Arms can be vertically adjusted for the corresponding tooling height.
	Front Sheet Support Fixtures Front Sheet Support Fixtures ride on a precision guide rail for easy left to right motion. Vertical movement is controlled by a hand wheel driven screw jack with no back drive for more precise positioning. The Front Sheet Support Fixtures also provide convenient built-in protractor and squaring capability.

Automatic Sheet Follower System

The Sheet Follower table is guided by a quadrant track on grooved roller bearings. The table trajectory is a circular arc which follows the bending motion of the part being formed.
Heavy duty load capacity of 500 lbs direct load per Sheet Follower table.
The Sheet Follower(s) is mounted to the Accurpress and is positioned left to right via a linear bearing and rail that is attached directly to the press brake bed. The rail is extended beyond the bed length on the lefthand side to permit parking the Sheet Follower(s) past the end of the bed.

Automatic Sheet Follower Systems are easily positioned and locked into place, and can be easily 'parked' beyond the press brake bed.

Accurpress offers a variety of operator guarding and press brake monitoring systems for maximum safety and production efficiencies such as Light Curtain, LaserSafe and Rear Guarding.
